Talk to an engineerThis is a stock construction: 400 g/m² face, 2.9 N/25 mm peel and 5,000 open-close cycles before the hook flattens. It suits seating, upholstery, automotive trim and load-bearing seams. Lot reports covering width, peel and adhesive weight ship inside the carton.
Each piece weighs about 4.6 g; 500 pieces to a carton. Tolerance on width is ±0.5 mm, on die-cut profile ±0.3 mm.
The buckle has to match the webbing width exactly — a 25 mm buckle on 25 mm webbing is correct, on 20 mm webbing it slides. Metal wire buckles suit sewn-free assemblies; plastic side-release buckles suit anything the end user opens by hand.
At 38 mm this construction is normally specified for seating, upholstery, automotive trim and load-bearing seams. The width does not change the peel per unit width much, but narrower tape engages fewer hooks at the edge, which is where peeling starts — so if the joint opens repeatedly, go up one width rather than up one grade.
Only if the widths match exactly. A 25 mm buckle on 25 mm webbing is correct; the same buckle on 20 mm webbing slides under load. We can supply webbing and buckle together so the fit is guaranteed rather than assumed.
Zinc-plated wire buckles suit sewn-free assemblies and hold a hard tension. POM side-release buckles are what end users expect to open by hand, and they do not corrode. Neither is stronger in the abstract — it depends on whether the strap is adjusted by a machine or a person.
Minimum order for this item is 1,000 pcs. Production runs 15–25 days after sample approval, with samples typically shipped in 7 days.
